Sajitha Liyanage

Sajitha Liyanage's work experience starts with their current role as a Research Assistant at Qatar Computing Research Institute, which began in January 2022. Prior to this, they worked at WSO2 as a Senior Software Engineer from November 2020 to January 2022, and as a Software Engineer from February 2019 to November 2020. They also served as a Google Summer of Code Mentor for two consecutive years, in 2021 and 2020. In 2019, they mentored for Google Code-in and served as a Member of IEEE. In 2018, they took on various leadership roles at UCSC ISACA Student Group, including President and Vice President. They also served as a Committee Member in 2016. During their undergraduate studies at the University of Colombo from 2015 to 2019, they were actively involved in research and development. Additionally, they mentored for Google Summer of Code in 2019 and mentored for Google Code-in in 2018.

Sajitha Liyanage completed a Bachelor of Science Honors degree in Computer Science from the University of Colombo from 2015 to 2018. Sajitha also earned a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science from the University of Colombo School of Computing during the same period. Prior to that, they attended Nalanda College Colombo from 2000 to 2013 where they completed their high school education with a focus on Mathematics.
