Shammur Absar Chowdhury

Shammur Absar Chowdhury has a diverse work experience in various research and educational roles. Shammur Absar started their career as a Teaching Assistant at BRAC University in 2008 and went on to hold positions such as Vice-Chair and Director of ACM Programming Wing at the university. Shammur Absar also worked as a Lecturer in the CSE Department and as a Senior Manager-Administration and Finance at AIESEC in BRAC University.

In terms of research roles, Shammur served as a Senior Research Assistant at CRBLP (Center for Research on Bangla Language Processing) and as a Research Assistant at the Signals & Interactive Systems Laboratory. Shammur Absar completed their PhD at the University of Trento while working as a PhD student and later became a Postdoctoral Researcher at Università degli Studi di Trento.
