Don Sandusky, Ph.D. has a diverse and extensive work experience spanning over several industries. Don started their career as a Graduate Student Research Fellow at NASA's Langley Research Center, where they conducted research and development for the NASA High Speed Research Program. Don received multiple NASA Technology Brief Awards during this time.

After completing their doctoral studies, Don joined DuPont, where they held various roles including Regional Sales Manager & Sports Marketing Manager for Terathane®, Textile Research Laboratory Manager for Invista, Senior Technology Strategist for Lycra® Spandex, and Division Engineer for Corian® Decorative Surfaces. In these positions, they managed and coordinated research and development programs, led global networks, and demonstrated manufacturing feasibility for innovative products.

In 2005, Don founded their own sports technology company called Primo Sport, Inc. During their tenure as Founder and President, they developed patented and branded sports equipment and licensed the Neverflat® technology to Spalding, a division of Russell Athletic.

Don later joined Warrior Sports as the Head of Product Development. Don was responsible for enhancing the R&D teams' functional capability and successfully commercializing the intellectual property portfolio of their previous company, Primo Sport.

In 2011, Don became a Visiting Scholar at the University of Delaware, where they pursued further research and academic activities.

Their most recent role is as the CEO & Maker at Hamboards Surfskates, starting in 2012. In this position, Don oversees the overall operations and leads the company's efforts in manufacturing surf-inspired skateboards.

Throughout their career, Don's work experience has encompassed engineering, research and development, management, and entrepreneurship, demonstrating their versatility and expertise in various fields.

Dr. Don Sandusky completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering at the University of Maine from 1986 to 1990. Subsequently, they pursued a Ph.D. in Applied Materials Science at William & Mary from 1992 to 1995.
