Jaana Siljamäki

Jaana Siljamäki is an experienced communications professional with a background in journalism and research. Currently serving as a Communications Specialist at HAMK Häme University of Applied Sciences since August 2017, Jaana also holds the position of Head of Communication at Kasvu Open since January 2016. Prior roles include Journalist in Economics at Keskisuomalainen and a news reporter at various media outlets, including Yle and Väli-Suomen Media. Jaana's research experience includes involvement in the "Towards Engaging Journalism" project at both the University of Tampere and the University of Jyväskylä. Jaana holds a Master of Arts in Journalism from the University of Jyväskylä and has furthered education at Charles University.
