Poul Jørgensen

Poul Jørgensen has extensive work experience in finance and operations management across various industries. Poul currently serves as the Chief Financial Officer at Hamlet Protein, overseeing Finance & IT with a combined turnover of around 1 billion DKK. Prior to that, they held the position of Chief Financial Officer at Risskov Bilferie/Risskov Autoferien AG, where they were responsible for Finance & HR in both companies. Poul also served as the CFO/COO at Hi Fi Klubben A/S, responsible for strategic development and operations in areas such as Finance, IT, Purchase, Logistic, Products, and Service. In addition, they worked at LEGO Group as the Treasure and Director of Group Finance Americas, Finance Business Partner for Global Procurement, and Finance Business Partner for Global Supply Chain Planning & Distribution. Poul's earlier experience includes roles such as Head of Strategy and Productivity department at Teknologisk Institut and Logistic Specialist, Project Leader, and Logistic Process Manager at Ecco Sko A/S. Poul began their career as a Management Trainee at Faber Industries, Ltd.

Poul Jørgensen has a diverse education history. Poul completed their MS in Business Administration, specializing in Organization and Operations research, from Syddansk Universitet - University of Southern Denmark from 1990 to 1996. In 2001, they attended Global Business Network for a course on Developing and Using Scenarios. In 2005, they were part of the CBS - MBA program at Stanford University and also attended the University of California, Berkeley. Poul then pursued an Executive MBA in Top Management from Copenhagen Business School from 2006 to 2007. In 2016, they furthered their education by completing a Board Education program at Board Assure and a course on Strategic Financial Leadership Program at Stanford University.
