Alan Postel

Alan Postel has a diverse work experience spanning different roles and positions.

From 2022 onwards, they have been working at Hammerspace, starting as a Solutions Architect and then transitioning to the role of Regional Sales Director in April 2023.

Before joining Hammerspace, Alan worked at Nasuni from 2016 to 2022. During their time there, they served as a Sr. Professional Services Consultant, where they designed and implemented complex NAS implementations and cloud data migrations. Alan collaborated with senior IT personnel to identify business workflows and designed solutions for global file access, disaster recovery, business continuity, high availability, and data archive retention. Prior to that, they held the position of Solutions Architect / Sales Engineer.

Alan's work experience also includes a role at Shermco Industries, where they worked as a Network System Administrator from 2010 to 2016.

Before that, they founded and operated Highpoint Alarm Service from 2006 to 2010. As the Principal of the company, they oversaw daily operations, drove sales and service contracts, managed technical support projects and teams, and installed and serviced security and camera systems for residential and commercial customers.

Alan Postel started their education in 2011 at Dallas College, where they earned a Certificate in Microsoft Certified IT Professional: Server Administrator in the field of Information Technology. In 2012, they continued their education at Tarrant County College, focusing on General Studies. Alan Postel has obtained several additional certifications throughout their education, including Cisco Certified Network Associate Security (CCNA) from Cisco in 2019, CISSP from (ISC)² in 2018, CCNA from Cisco in 2016, MCITP: Server Administration Server 2008 R2 and MCSA: Server 2008 R2 from Microsoft in 2012, MCDST from Microsoft in 2011, MCTS: Windows 7 Configuration from Microsoft in 2011, A+ from CompTIA in 2010, and Network+ from CompTIA in 2011.
