Scott Hamshaw is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in machine learning and civil engineering. Currently serving as a Machine Learning Specialist at the U.S. Geological Survey since August 2021, Scott also holds multiple academic positions at the University of Vermont, including Adjunct Assistant Professor and Research Assistant Professor, contributing to research projects such as the Vermont EPSCoR Basin Resilience to Extreme Events. Scott's academic background includes a PhD in Civil and Environmental Engineering and a Master's degree from the University of Vermont, along with a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering and a Bachelor's degree in Engineering from Saint Michael's College.
