Ian Cross

Ian Cross has extensive experience in the hospitality industry, primarily in sales and marketing roles. Ian is currently working as the Group Director of Sales at Hand Picked Hotels. Prior to that, they served as the National Sales Director for MALMAISON AND HOTEL DU VIN LIMITED from 2018 to 2023. Before that, they held the position of Sales Director at Malmaison from 2016 to 2018 and Director of Sales at Hotel Du Vin from 2015 to 2016. Ian has also worked as a Commercial Director for The House Consultancy & The House Collection from 2012 to 2014, Director of Sales & Marketing at The Belfry Golf Resort from 2008 to 2012, Director of Sales & Marketing at City Inn Manchester from 2007 to 2008, Regional Director of Sales at Thistle Hotels from 2006 to 2007, and Regional Director of Sales and Marketing at Choice Hotels International from 2005 to 2006.

Ian Cross attended The Manchester Grammar School from 1982 to 1989, but did not pursue a specific degree or field of study during this time. From 1990 to 1993, they studied at the University of Sussex, where they obtained a BA Hons degree in Human Geography.
