Robert Touzel

Robert Touzel has an extensive work experience in the hospitality industry. Robert currently holds the position of Director of Sales & Marketing, Channel Islands at Hand Picked Hotels, which they have been in since May 2022. Prior to this role, they worked as a Sales and Marketing Manager at Hand Picked Hotels from September 2020 to May 2022.

Before joining Hand Picked Hotels, Robert held similar positions at L'Horizon Beach Hotel & Spa and The Grand Jersey in 2020.

From 2015 to 2019, they served as the Director of Sales and Marketing at Jumeirah Group / Jumeirah Hotels & Resorts.

Robert has also worked in various roles at Langham Hospitality Group, starting as a Director of Sales & Marketing in August 2007 and eventually becoming a Regional Director of Sales & Marketing from June 2011 to March 2015.

Prior to Langham, they worked at Mandarin Oriental Hotel Group, where they held the position of Director of Sales & Marketing from January 2005 to August 2007, and various other sales and marketing roles from May 2001 to December 2004, and February 1999 to May 2001.

Their career in the hospitality industry started in 1988 at Sheraton, where they served as a Sales Executive/Sales Manager until January 1991. Robert then became the Director of Sales & Marketing at Sheraton from January 1991 to December 1992.

Before joining Sheraton, Robert worked as a Director of Sales & Marketing at Athenaeum Hotel and Apartments from January 1993 to February 1999.

Robert Touzel attended Victoria College Jersey from 1976 to 1984. During their time at Victoria College Jersey, they held the positions of Deputy Head Boy and House Captain. Following their graduation from Victoria College Jersey, Robert Touzel enrolled at the University of Portsmouth, where they completed their Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Hotel & Catering Management from 1984 to 1988.
