Kelly Painter

Kelly Painter has extensive experience in product development and design operations. Kelly is currently the Director of Product Development and Design Operations at Hanna Andersson. Prior to this role, they worked at Kroger as a Senior Product Developer, managing hundreds of SKUs per season and developing two direct reports. Kelly also oversaw the implementation of an internal PLM system and proposed the development of internal private label accessory lines.

Before Kroger, Kelly worked at Fossil Group, Inc. as a Senior Product Development Manager, where they achieved a 7% increase in internal margins for a specific category and improved operational efficiency by reducing product development calendars. Kelly also served as a Product Development Manager at Fossil, overseeing development, costing, and material processes.

In addition, Kelly has experience in the sports industry, having worked as a Women's Technical Apparel Designer for the Dallas Cowboys. Kelly partnered with the creative director and implemented a Product Inventory Management software system to streamline technical packages. Kelly also designed women's handbags and belts at Tandy Brands Accessories and Sidran, Inc., achieving success with various brands and lines.

Kelly began their career as a Freelance Designer at Prime Source Inc. Overall, they have a strong background in product development, design, and management across various industries.

Kelly Painter earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA) degree with a focus in Fashion/Apparel Design from the University of North Texas.
