Ameena Bahrainwala

Ameena Bahrainwala has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. Ameena is currently working at HASI, where they have held multiple positions, starting as Director Portfolio Management in February 2021 and progressing to Senior Director and Vice President of Portfolio Management. Before joining HASI, Ameena worked at The AES Corporation as a Senior Manager of Global Financial Planning and Strategy from January 2015 to February 2021. Prior to that, they were a Portfolio Manager at the U.S. Department of Energy from July 2013 to January 2015. Ameena also gained experience at Exelon Energy and Exelon Energy (Constellation Energy) as a Quantitative Analyst and Enterprise Risk Manager, respectively. Ameena started their career at Standard Chartered Bank as a Manager of Finance and Strategy and later as a Lead Relationship and Portfolio Manager. Ameena's early experience includes working as an Associate at Ernst & Young in Assurance and Advisory.

Ameena Bahrainwala completed their education at various institutions. From 1999 to 2004, they attended Savitribai Phule Pune University, where they obtained a bachelor's and master's degree in Commerce. Following this, they attended The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India from 2000 to 2004, where they earned the designation of Chartered Accountant. Later, from 2009 to 2011, they pursued an MBA degree in Finance & Strategy from The George Washington University School of Business. Ameena also holds a certification as a Chartered Accountant from the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India.
