Courtney Walsh

Courtney Walsh, PhD has a diverse work experience. Courtney started their career at The University of Texas at Austin as a Graduate Research Assistant/Fellow from September 2014 to August 2019. After that, they worked as a Visiting Professor at St. Edward's University from August 2019 to August 2020. Courtney then joined Cocoon as a User Experience Research Consultant from October 2018 to August 2020. Courtney further gained experience as a Survey Scientist at the American Institute of Physics from August 2020 to July 2022. Currently, they are working as a Research Director at Hanover Research starting from June 2022.

Courtney Walsh, PhD, completed their education in a progressive manner, starting with a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Psychology from Washington & Jefferson College in 2012. Courtney then pursued a Master of Science (MS) degree in Psychology from Villanova University from 2012 to 2014. Following this, they attended The University of Texas at Austin, where they obtained a Master of Arts (MA) in Human Development and Family Studies from 2014 to 2016. Building upon their MA, they further pursued a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree in Human Development and Family Studies from The University of Texas at Austin between 2014 and 2019.

In addition to their formal education, Courtney Walsh has also obtained various certifications through LinkedIn in subjects related to user experience (UX) design, career planning, and data analysis. Courtney completed these certifications in 2020.
