Vincent Galante

Vincent Galante has a diverse work experience spanning several industries. Vincent is currently working as the Head of Product and Design at HappyCo since November 2022. Prior to that, they held the same position at Yuhu from January 2021 to November 2022.

From February 2019 to January 2021, Vincent worked as a Product Management and Design Consultant at Vincent Galante Strategy + Design. Vincent provided strategic guidance and design expertise to various clients during this period.

Before that, they served as the Director and Chair of the Design Industry Advisory Committee (DIAC) from April 2016 to July 2019. DIAC is a cross-disciplinary research group that promotes the value of design and its contributions to economic, social, and environmental goals.

Vincent's entrepreneurial journey began when they co-founded The Pixel Shop, a digital agency, in December 2010. Vincent played a crucial role in growing the company, acquiring clients such as Volvo, Manulife, and Rogers. The Pixel Shop was eventually sold, marking a successful exit from the business in January 2019.

Prior to that, they worked as a Senior Product Designer at AudienceView Software Corporation from December 2008 to June 2011.

Vincent's creative career started as a Graphic Designer at Marketlink from 1999 to 2003. Before that, they worked as a Product Developer at Aztech New Media from February 1997 to October 1999.

Vincent Galante completed their Bachelor of Fine Arts degree with a focus on Visual Art at York University from 1992 to 1996. Following this, they pursued their Master's Degree in Strategic Foresight and Innovation, specializing in Design, at OCAD University from 2015 to 2018. In addition to their formal education, Vincent obtained certification as a Registered Graphic Designer from the Association of Registered Graphic Designers (RGD) in September 2008.
