Ed Foley

Ed Foley has worked in a variety of roles since 2010. Starting in 2010, they were a Mechanical Engineering Intern at Mizuho OSI. In 2011, they returned to Mizuho OSI for a second Mechanical Engineering Internship. From 2012 to 2014, they were an Instructional Student Assistant at California Polytechnic State University, followed by an Engineer role at Proof of Concept, LLC. In 2015, they joined HaptX Inc. as an Engineer II (mechatronics), and then progressed to Software Engineering Manager and Director of Software Engineering. In their role at HaptX Inc., they coordinate the software team as both a functional manager and a project manager.

Ed Foley completed their Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering (Mechatronics) from California Polytechnic State University-San Luis Obispo in 2013. Prior to that, they obtained their Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the same institution in 2019. Ed also attended Lick-Wilmerding High School from 2004 to 2008. Additionally, they hold an Engineer in Training certification from the California Board for Professional Engineers, Land Surveyors, and Geologists.
