Shannon Slade

Shannon Slade has a diverse work experience spanning over 15 years. Shannon is currently the Communications & Public Relations Manager at Harbour Hospice, a role they started in March 2019. Prior to that, they worked as a Senior Communications Specialist on a freelance basis from December 2018 to March 2019. From December 2017 to December 2018, Shannon held the position of Senior Account Director (contract position) at Thrive PR + Communications. In their previous roles, they served as the Marketing Manager - Communications, PR, Events, and Social Media at Yellow New Zealand from April 2016 to July 2017, and as an Account Director at Goode PR from June 2011 to May 2016. Shannon also worked as a Prime Publicist at Sky Television from February 2010 to June 2011, and as an Editor at Flossie.com Ltd from March 2009 to December 2009. Prior to that, they were a PR Account Manager at Product Placement from 2007 to 2009. Shannon began their career as a Journalist and Health & Beauty Editor at Review Publishing / 3 Media Group from 2005 to 2007, and as a Reporter at Fairfax Media from 2004 to 2005.

Shannon Slade attended The University of Waikato from 2000 to 2003, where they earned a Bachelor of Communications. Their degree included a double major in Screen & Media and Drama.
