Gilberto Ghisoli

Gilberto (Gilly) Ghisoli has extensive experience in the hospitality industry. Gilberto (Gilly) started their career as the General Manager and Owner of Samoa Rest-Caracas, where they played a major role in creating the concept, ambiance, decor, and menu of the restaurant. Under their leadership, Samoa became one of the most successful franchises in Venezuela.

Ghisoli then ventured into creating their own restaurant concept again and became the General Manager and Owner of Bambuddha Asian Fusion Restaurante. Gilberto (Gilly) successfully developed an Asian Fusion menu and maintained a high standard of quality, establishing the restaurant as a fine dining destination in Puerto Rico.

After gaining valuable entrepreneurial experience, Ghisoli joined the Hard Rock Cafe Margarita as the General Manager. Gilberto (Gilly) held this position for six years and received multiple acknowledgments for their exceptional performance, including Top Of The Rock and Certificate of Excellence from TripAdvisor. During their tenure, Ghisoli was responsible for overseeing the overall operations of the company, reviewing costs, coordinating the work of managers and supervisors, conducting audits, ensuring product quality, and driving sales growth.

With an impressive track record, Ghisoli joined the Hard Rock International as the Franchise Director of Operations for South America. Gilberto (Gilly) continues to leverage their extensive experience to oversee and optimize the operations of Hard Rock franchises across South America.

Gilberto (Gilly) Ghisoli earned a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) degree from Universidad José María Vargas from 1991 to 1996, with a field of study in Empresa/comercio, general. Gilberto (Gilly) also obtained a Licentiate degree in Administration and Business Management from IESA in 1998. In terms of high school education, they attended Colegio San Ignacio de Loyola from 1979 to 1988, completing the Programa de Excelencia en Bachillerato. Additionally, they hold several certifications from LinkedIn in various topics such as building better routines, cultivating a growth mindset, and strategic thinking, among others.
