Betanya Mahary

Betanya Mahary is a skilled research professional currently serving as a Research Associate at Harder+Company Community Research since February 2023. Previous experience includes roles as Project Lead at KP Innovative Solutions, Fellow at the Ethiopian Diaspora Fellowship, Data and Impact Lead at Forested, Research Assistant in Gender & Sexuality Studies at Spelman College, Strategist at Integrate Africa, and Researcher for Diversity, Equity & Inclusion at Ellavate Solutions. Betanya has also contributed as a Research Assistant in Data Science at Understood and interned as part of the Women of Excellence Leadership Series at Spelman College. Academic credentials include a Master of Science in International Migration and Public Policy from The London School of Economics and Political Science, and a Bachelor’s Degree in Sociology & Anthropology and Comparative Women's Studies with a Global Studies concentration from Spelman College.
