Stephen Barker

Stephen Barker has extensive work experience in various industries. Stephen currently serves as the Managing Director of Hargreaves (UK) Services Ltd, overseeing multiple business units including Hargreaves Environmental, Hargreaves Logistics, and Hargreaves Minerals. Prior to this, they held the position of Area Director at Tarmac, where they played a vital role in the company's Yorkshire operations. Stephen also served as the Managing Director of Yorwaste Group, where they led the company's commercial waste services in North Yorkshire & York and managed operations across multiple sites. Stephen has also worked at Lafarge, where they served as the PMO Integration Manager and Area Production Manager & Commercial Manager. Stephen began their career at Halliburton as an MWD Engineer and later worked as a Surface Data Logging Engineer.

Stephen Barker completed a BSc degree in Geology from the University of Leicester between 1991 and 1994. Stephen then pursued further education and obtained an MSc degree in Engineering Surveying & Geodesy (distinction) from the University of Nottingham between 2000 and 2001.
