Richard Flahaven

Richard Flahaven serves as the Chief Information Security Officer and Data Privacy Officer at Harley-Davidson Motor Company since April 2009, overseeing the protection of information assets and brand reputation through comprehensive global IT and IoT security strategies. Prior to this role, Richard was the Chief Privacy Officer and Director of IS Security/Audit Compliance at Whirlpool Corporation from October 1992 to April 2009, where responsibilities included privacy strategy, security policy, and compliance. Earlier experience includes positions as a Business Recovery Manager and Lead Strategic IT Consultant. Richard's career began at Inland Steel Company from 1981 to 1992 as a Supervisor. Richard holds a Bachelor of Arts in Economics and Computer Science from the University of Notre Dame and an Associate of Arts from Holy Cross College.
