Elena Rasmussen is an experienced procurement professional with a comprehensive background in purchasing and supplier management. Currently serving as Vice President of Purchasing for the Business Area Architecture & Networking and previously for Electronics at Continental since September 2014, Elena has held various senior positions including Director of Purchasing Electronics and Director of Purchasing and Supplier Quality at Continental and Siemens Wind Power A/S. At Siemens Wind Power, Elena was the Commercial Head of Procurement, overseeing process and supplier management. Elena's early career includes roles such as Supplier Development Manager and Corporate Commodity Manager for Electronics at SiemensVDO. Educational qualifications include a Betriebswirtin FH degree in International Business from Reutlingen University, alongside studies at Heriot-Watt University and a Bachelor in Economics from Lomonosov Moscow State University.
