Fiona Mellor Gaicd

Fiona Mellor has a diverse and extensive work experience spanning various industries. Fiona is currently Chief Commercial Officer (CCO) at Harness Racing Victoria, a role they started in January 2022. Additionally, they serve as the Interim Chief Executive Officer since September 2022.

Prior to this, Fiona worked as a Non Executive Director at RULE Prostate Cancer, starting in November 2019.

From 2017 to 2019, Fiona held the position of Executive General Manager, Community Media & Real Estate at News Corp Australia. During the same period, they also served as a Non Executive Director at Community News and DIAKRIT International.

Earlier in their career, Fiona served as the General Manager at Leader Community Newspapers from 2014 to 2017. Prior to that, they worked as the Publisher for mX print and digital in Melbourne, Sydney, and Brisbane from 2012 to 2014.

Fiona's experience at The Herald and Weekly Times Limited as the Advertising Sales Director took place from 2005 to 2012, and they started their tenure at News Corp Australia as the Victorian Sales Director in 1999.

Fiona Mellor completed their GAICD degree at the Australian Institute of Company Directors in 2019.
