Ravi Lachhman

Ravi Lachhman's work experience spans over a decade, starting in 2010. Ravi began their career as a Consultant at Accenture, where they worked on designing and implementing a Siebel CRM system for a Federal Agency. Ravi then joined Deloitte as a Senior Consultant, leading an enterprise application integration effort for an investment bank.

In 2012, Ravi moved to Akamai Technologies, where they worked as a Solutions Architect supporting large eCommerce, media, and financial clients on the East Coast. Ravi addressed gaps in clients' distributed web architecture and provided mitigation strategies. After that, they joined Red Hat as a Solutions Architect, educating prospective clients on the capabilities of Red Hat's application development products and methodologies.

Ravi then transitioned to Sonatype as a Principal Sales Engineer, where they helped clients accelerate software innovation, security, and quality. Ravi provided thought leadership on polyglot Open Source Software development and governance. Next, they joined Mesosphere as a Principal Sales Engineer, evangelizing Mesosphere DC/OS and supporting technologies like Apache Mesos and Marathon.

In 2018, Ravi joined AppDynamics as a Technical Leader/Evangelist, focusing on moving the DevOps and Cloud communities forward. Ravi evangelized on container orchestration and hybrid cloud technologies. Ravi then moved to Harness in 2019 as the Head of Evangelism, building and leading a distributed team of evangelists and community managers.

Recently, Ravi joined Shipa as a Field CTO, reporting to the CEO. Ravi led and built the solution engineering and advocacy organization and made significant contributions before the firm underwent significant cuts. Currently, Ravi is working as a Senior Manager, Product Management at Harness, where they have launched Harness Developer Hub (HDH) to make developer education easier.

Ravi Lachhman holds a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Science, Technology, and Culture from the Georgia Institute of Technology. Prior to this, they earned a High School Diploma from Parkview High School, with a focus on Computer Software and Media Applications. Ravi has also obtained a certification as a Software Delivery Foundations Associate from Harness in December 2022.
