Scott Walker

Scott Walker has extensive work experience in the software engineering field. Scott is currently working at Harness as a Principal Engineer since February 2021. Prior to that, they worked at Puppet as a Senior Principal Engineer from August 2014 to February 2021. Before joining Puppet, they worked at Vello Systems as a Technical Lead (Software) from May 2013 to June 2014. Scott also worked at IBM as a Technical Lead (Software) from February 2010 to May 2013. Scott started their career at Intelliden as a Senior Software Engineer from August 2006 to February 2010. Scott also has experience as a Computer Science Researcher at the University of St Andrews from September 2001 to August 2006. Scott worked as a Software Engineer at IndigoVision in 2001 and at 3Com as a Software Engineer from September 1999 to May 2001.

Scott Walker earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from the University of St Andrews, which they attended from 1995 to 1999. Following their undergraduate studies, they pursued a Ph.D. in Computer Science with a focus on Distributed Systems at the same institution. Scott successfully completed their doctorate at the University of St Andrews from 2001 to 2005.
