Vicki Smith

Vicki Smith is a highly respected financial leader who has worked for large listed and unlisted commercial organisations in London, Prague, Moscow, Melbourne and Perth. She is an ACA-qualified accountant with 18 years’ experience post-qualification, including ten years as a Finance Director and CFO. With an outstanding industry background in RPO and technology, Vicki has profound expertise and knowledge of the global talent solutions market.

Starting her career in London with one of the Big Four professional services companies, Vicki moved on to find her niche with a global RPO provider where she served 10 years. Here she quickly made her mark and excelled to become an integral part of the senior leadership team, working as their APAC Finance Director.

Vicki has extensive experience in financial management and control, strategy development and execution, and mergers and acquisitions. Throughout her career she has acquired and integrated a number of recruitment and technology companies, developing expert knowledge of the desirability factors, appropriate deal structures and business valuations. She works closely with the business owners in a collaborative way to ensure a transparent and supportive due diligence process is carried out.

As the commercial lead on a number of RPO and MSP deals in the EMEA and APAC regions, Vicki has constructed innovative pricing solutions, complex bid models and successfully negotiated contracts with international financial services, technology and telecommunications firms. With her flexible approach to working with in-house teams and clients, as well as the application of her strong analytical and commercial capabilities, Vicki is able to articulate the best solution to meet the needs of the business.
