Cathy Kozial, CPC

Cathy Kozial, CPC has extensive work experience in the healthcare industry. Cathy served as the Director of Healthcare Operations at Harris & Harris, Ltd. from 2013 to the present. Prior to that, from 2009 to 2012, they worked as the Manager of Physician/Ancillary Reimbursement at Healthcare Information Services.

Cathy also has a long history with NCO Financial Systems, starting in 1982 and working there until 2009. During their time at NCO, they held the role of Operations Manager-Healthcare, where they led teams in various industries including healthcare, government, pre-legal, telecom, retail, and utilities.

Before NCO, Cathy worked at Payco GAC as a Collection Manager from 1982 to 2009. Additionally, they held various positions at OSI Collection Services from 1982 to 2008, including Operations Manager, Bookkeeping Supervisor, and Manager of the Client Services Department.

Cathy Kozial, CPC, has a diverse education history. In 1981 to 1982, they completed coursework at Northern Illinois University. In 2006, they obtained Excel I & II Certifications from Harper College. In 2009, Cathy pursued a Microsoft Access Certification from Elgin Community College. Additionally, in 2011, Cathy attended the American Association of Professional Coders and earned a CPC degree in Medical Coding.
