Lisa Hess

Lisa Hess has extensive work experience in finance and accounting, with a special focus on financial management, strategic planning, and operational efficiency. Lisa has held various leadership roles in different companies, including being the Chief Financial Officer at HFA since 2023. Prior to that, they served as the Chief Financial Officer at Mackie Wolf Zientz & Mann, P.C., where they implemented financial and operational strategies during the COVID-19 pandemic. Lisa has also worked as an Accounting Manager at Dallas Stars and as a Financial Controller at eGistics, Inc. Lisa has a strong background in project accounting and has held positions such as Assistant Financial Controller at Bureau Veritas and Corporate Controller at Landis Evans + Partners. Lisa started their career as a Project Controller at Brinckerhoff Construction Services, Inc. Lisa holds a CMA, CSCA, and an MBA degree.

Lisa Hess, CMA, CSCA, MBA, has a comprehensive education history. Lisa obtained a Masters in Business Administration and Management with a concentration in International Finance & Economics from the University of South Florida in 2002. Prior to that, they earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Accounting from the same university in 1996. Additionally, Lisa holds an Associate degree in Science - Business Administration from the University of Mount Olive, which they completed in 1989. Lisa also attended Oklahoma State University from 1983 to 1985, where they pursued General Studies. Lisa completed their high school education at Altus High School from 1980 to 1983. In terms of certifications, they obtained the Certified Management Accountant (CMA) designation in 2015 and became Certified in Strategy and Competitive Analysis (CSCA) in 2021. Lisa also holds an IMA Data Analytics & Visualization Fundamentals Certificate, which they received in 2020 from the Institute of Management Accountants.
