Sarah Hamilton

Sarah Hamilton has a diverse work experience spanning over several companies and roles. Sarah is currently serving as the Director of HR at Harrods since February 2023. Prior to their current role, they held positions such as a Trustee Director and Head of Human Resources at Harrods. Before joining Harrods, they worked at The Co-operative Bank plc as a People Director and Trustee Director. Additionally, they served as the Head of HR Shared Services & Resourcing at The Co-operative Bank. Sarah also gained valuable experience at Univar Solutions as an HR Services & Reward Leader, EMEA, HR Business Partner, and HR Manager. Sarah started their career at NGA Human Resources as a Technical Leader - HR & Payroll and later gained experience in HR roles at NXP Semiconductors, Marks and Spencer, ADP, and Independent Insurance.

Sarah Hamilton has a strong educational background in human resources management. In 2004, they attended the University of Worcester and completed a degree in Advanced Payroll Management, specifically in the field of study of CIPP. Following this, from 2013 to 2015, they pursued further education at the University of Huddersfield and obtained a Post Grad CIPD degree in Human Resource Management. Continuing their studies at the same university, Sarah completed their education in 2016, receiving a Master of Arts (M.A.) degree in Human Resources Management.
