Rebecca Courtney

Rebecca Courtney has a diverse range of work experience in corporate communications and media relations. Rebecca is currently the Director of Corporate Communications at Hart, a position they have held since March 2021. Prior to that, they worked at Airfoil Group from 2016 to 2021, where they held the roles of Senior Strategy and Media Relations Specialist, Senior Account Executive, and Account Executive. Their responsibilities included executing media relations strategies, building relationships with key media outlets, developing storytelling opportunities for clients, and providing counsel on media relations matters. Before Airfoil Group, Rebecca worked as a Senior Media Relations Specialist at Walker Sands Communications from 2015 to 2016. Rebecca also gained experience as a Media Relations Coordinator at VineSprout, Inc. in 2014, and as the Financial Chair of the Purdue Student Concert Committee from 2012 to 2014. Furthermore, they worked as a Summer Campaign Manager at Cyber PR & Cyber PR Music in 2013, as a Public Relations and Marketing Intern at Blow Up Records in 2012, and as a Public Relations Intern at the Massachusetts Film Office in 2011.

Rebecca Courtney obtained a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Public Relations and English from Purdue University from 2009 to 2014.
