Elizabeth Zheng

Elizabeth Zheng is currently serving as a Generative AI Research Fellow at Harvard University, where responsibilities include designing computational programs in Python to analyze historical police records and contributing to a book on mass incarceration in the United States. As Design Editor for The Harvard Crimson since November 2023, Elizabeth plays a key role in the publication's visual presentation. Previous experience includes a fellowship at The D. E. Shaw Group, leadership as On-Campus Director for Harvard Student Agencies, and writing for the Harvard International Review. Elizabeth also served as a Young Champion for Refugees with UNHCR and as a Student Representative for the Pennsylvania 4th Congressional Student Task Force. Notable creative work includes executing a national billboard campaign for For Freedoms. Elizabeth is pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Statistics at Harvard University, expected to graduate in 2026.
