John Tirch has an extensive work experience. John began their career as a Managing Director at Outback Steakhouse from 2001 to 2003, and later became a Managing Partner from 2003 to 2011. From 2011 to 2013, they were a Managing Partner at Dinosaur BBQ. John then worked as a General Manager at BLT Fish and BLT Fish Shack from 2013 to 2014. John was also a General Manager at The Wayfarer NYC from 2014 to 2017. From 2017 to 2018, they served as the East Regional Operations Director at Umami Restaurant Group, LLC, and later became the National Operations Director from 2018 to 2019. John then held the role of VP of Operations US and Vice President of Operations at Kinka Family Inc. from 2018 to 2019. Finally, in 2020, they founded their own company called CROP Hospitality.

John Tirch attended William Paterson University of New Jersey from 1992 to 1999, where they obtained a Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA) degree with a focus on Painting.
