Anne Scapetis has a diverse work experience spanning over 20 years. Anne started their career as a Corporate Communications Advisor at the City of Melbourne in 2000 and later worked as a Public Relations Coordinator at Voyages Indigenous Tourism Australia in 2001. Anne then returned to the City of Melbourne as a Corporate Communications Advisor until 2003. In 2003, Anne became a Copywriting and Communications Consultant and worked as a Principal until 2005. Anne then joined Transurban as a Marketing and Communications Advisor before being promoted to Manager Marketing and Communications Services in 2006 and eventually becoming the Director of Corporate Marketing from 2007 to 2009. Since 2010, Anne has been working at HASSELL, initially as the Head of Communications and later taking on the roles of Head of Marketing and Communications and currently serving as the Head of Brand, Marketing + Research.
Anne Scapetis has a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Journalism from RMIT University, which they obtained between the years 1997 and 1999. In 2006, they took several advertising short courses at AFA Adschool. Prior to their university education, Anne attended Mentone Girls' Grammar School from 1990 to 1996, although specific degrees or fields of study are not mentioned for this period.
