Jatin Patel

Jatin Patel has extensive experience in the financial services industry. Jatin currently holds the position of Chief Commercial & Marketing Officer at Hastings Direct, a role they have held since February 2020. In addition, Jatin is also the Chairman of Hastings Financial Services Ltd, starting in December 2022.

Prior to their current roles, Jatin held various positions at TSB Bank, including Product and Digital Director and Products Director. Jatin was responsible for defining and executing commercial strategy, product development, pricing, and customer journey management. Before joining TSB Bank, Jatin worked at Lloyds Banking Group as the Personal Current Account Director, overseeing multiple segments within the business.

Jatin has also held positions at The University of Manchester as a Non-Executive Director & Governor of the Board, and at UK Finance as a Board Member of the Personal Banking Product & Service Board. Additionally, they served as a Strategic Board Advisor at Visa and as a Board Member of TRAVELLERS CHEQUE ASSOCIATES LIMITED, a joint venture between Lloyds Banking Group, RBS, and American Express.

Prior to their work in the financial services industry, Jatin gained experience as a Senior Consultant at Marakon.

Jatin Patel attended Barham Primary School from 1981 to 1988. Jatin then attended Wembley High School from 1988 to 1995. Later, they pursued a Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing Engineering at the University of Cambridge from 1996 to 2000, successfully completing an MEng & BA.
