Howard Herrera

Howard Herrera is the current Director of Engineering at Hatch Lighting. Prior to this position, Howard served as the Sr. Director of Engineering at Xenio Systems / Bridgelux, Inc. from August 2014 to September 2017. In this role, Howard was responsible for the engineering group’s day-to-day activities, mentoring, sizing, budget, resources and schedules. Howard was also in charge of handling all the Operation’s New Product Introduction (NPI) related activities.

Before their time at Xenio Systems / Bridgelux, Howard served as EE Manager / EPM / DLM Systems Architect at The Wattstopper/Legrand from February 2005 to July 2014. In this role, Howard was responsible for the development and implementation of energy management strategies, systems and products. Howard also served as an electrical engineer at Wattstopper/Legrand from May 1998 to January 2001.

Howard has over 19 years of experience in the engineering field and is a highly skilled and knowledgeable engineer. Howard has a proven track record of success in managing and leading engineering teams and projects. Howard is a dedicated professional who is committed to their work and always puts the needs of their team first.

Howard Herrera has a truncated MSEE from Universidade Federal de Santa Catarina in the field of controls and automation. Howard also has an EE from Pontificia Universidad Católica del Perú in electronics engineering.
