Romil Doctor

Romil Doctor serves as the Director of Business Development at Haugland Group LLC, an infrastructure services holding company, since September 2023. Previously, Romil held the position of Senior Director of Business Development & Sales for Wind & Solar at K2 Management from November 2022 to June 2023, focusing on sustainable energy project solutions. From May 2010 to November 2022, Romil worked at National Oilwell Varco, advancing through roles including Director of Strategy & Execution - Offshore Wind and Director of Commercialization/Business Development Services, where efforts concentrated on offshore wind strategies and product development alignment with corporate goals. Prior experience includes engineering and commercialization roles at companies such as Cameron, Unipixel Displays, and Progression Technologies, alongside research positions during academic tenure at The University of Texas at Austin, where Romil earned a Master’s in Aerospace/Mechanical Engineering and a Bachelor’s in Aerospace Engineering. Romil further enhanced business acumen through a Technology Commercialization Management Program at the McCombs School of Business.
