Adele Tasaka has extensive work experience in the hospitality and tourism industry. Adele began their career in 1976 as a Sales Manager at Hyatt Hotels and Resorts Hawaii, where they worked until 1986. From 1987 to 1988, they served as a Sales Manager at the Hyatt Regency Los Angeles. Adele then worked as a Senior Sales Manager at the Omni San Diego Hotel from 1988 to 1990. In 1991, they joined the Sheraton Moana Surfrider as a Senior Account Director. From 1992 to 1996, they worked as Administrative Staff at the U S Senator Daniel K Akaka's office. Most recently, they held the position of Senior Director of Accounts at the Hawaii Visitors & Convention Bureau.
From 1971 to 1975, Adele Tasaka attended the University of Hawaii at Manoa, where they pursued a Bachelor's degree in Education (BED). During this time, they also concentrated their studies on the minor field of Japanese.
