Chun Yip Chan

Chun Yip Chan is a Senior Associate at Hawkins & Associates since March 2016, specializing in investigations related to engineering, materials, and corrosion failures, including water damage assessments of lift components. Previously, Chun Yip Chan held the position of Metallurgy Development Engineer at Technip from December 2011 to March 2016, managing R&D projects for subsea umbilical and hardware and conducting tests and analyses focused on mechanical failures and corrosion. Chun Yip Chan earned a PhD in Materials Engineering and a Master of Engineering in Materials Science & Engineering from The University of Manchester, completing these degrees in 2011 and 2007, respectively.
