Stephanie Miranda Murphy, Ph.D. has a diverse work experience in the field of education policy and research. Stephanie Miranda is currently the Director of State Policy and Research at HCM Strategists. Prior to this, they served as the Director of Education Policy at The Commit Partnership. Stephanie also worked at the New England Board of Higher Education, where they held the positions of Associate Director of Public Policy and Policy and Research Analyst. Stephanie Miranda gained valuable experience as a Program Coordinator at The Hunt Institute, where they managed partnerships and engaged with policymakers to support education policies. Stephanie's early career included roles as a Graduate Teaching Assistant at the University of Toronto and the University of North Texas, where they collaborated with faculty, conducted research, and implemented educational strategies.

Stephanie Miranda Murphy, Ph.D. has an extensive educational background that spans over a decade. In 2002, they enrolled at the University of North Texas and completed their Bachelor's Degree in English Language and Literature, graduating magna cum laude in 2005. Following this, they pursued further education in the field of Political Science, earning a Master's Degree from the University of North Texas from 2009 to 2011. Stephanie Miranda then went on to the University of Toronto, where they successfully obtained a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Political Science and Government, completing their studies from 2011 to 2020.

In addition to their academic achievements, Stephanie Murphy holds a certification as a Registered Lobbyist, obtained from the Texas Ethics Commission in May 2022.
