Hank Hwang has extensive experience in software engineering and development. Hank began their career in 2007 as a Research Assistant and Electrical and Computer Engineer Lead at Duke University. In 2010, they joined Onyxware as a Software Engineer. In 2013, they were an Intern at Kyruus, where they were tasked with a dev-ops project of preparing migration of external services to within a virtual private cloud (VPC) using Amazon Web Services. From 2014 to 2016, they worked at SpringRole Inc. as a Software Architect and Co Founder, Infrastructure Engineer. Hank then joined Hulu in 2016 as a Senior Software Development Lead, Senior Software Developer, and Software Developer. Most recently, in 2021 they were a Manager Software Engineering at Disney Streaming, and in 2022 they became a Staff Software Engineer at HeadRace.

Hank Hwang received their High School/Secondary Diplomas and Certificates from William G Enloe in 2002-2006. Hank then attended North Carolina State University from 2004-2005 and completed Distance Education Courses. After that, they attended Duke University from 2006-2010 and earned a Bachelor of Science in Engineering (B.S.E.) in Biomedical Engineering, Electrical and Computer Engineering. Finally, they attended Carnegie Mellon University from 2012-2014 and earned a Master of Science (M.S.) in Biotechnology Innovation and Computation.
