Nare Bandaranayake

Nare Bandaranayake has a diverse range of work experience in various industries. They started their career as an Associate at Deloitte in 2005, working in audit. They then worked as an Analyst at Barclays Capital from 2007 to 2009. After that, Nare joined Goldman Sachs as an Analyst in Global Investment Research, specializing in Semiconductors & Hardware and Clean Tech industries. In 2011, Nare became a Vice President in Tradable Credit Group at Ares Management, a global investment manager. They conducted corporate credit analysis and covered high-risk industry portfolios. In 2017, Nare founded Barressential, a wellness proposition in Colombo, Sri Lanka, focusing on fitness and healthy nutritional choices. In 2020, Nare became the Chief Growth Officer at oDoc, where they led strategy development and execution, resulting in a 10x revenue growth in 18 months. Additionally, they transformed oDoc into a household brand and drove partnerships with leading healthcare delivery systems. Nare's most recent roles include being a Strategic Finance Consultant at Midi Health in 2023, a Researcher at Stanford University in 2023, and currently working as the Marketing Finance Lead at Headway since 2024.

Nare Bandaranayake holds a Master of Science degree in Management Science from Stanford University Graduate School of Business, which was obtained in 2023. Prior to that, Nare completed a Masters degree in Finance from the University of Cambridge and a Bachelors (Honours) degree in Neuroscience from King's College London. Nare also possesses various additional certifications in fields including public management, global disease distribution, biotechnology, collaboration, and fitness-related areas.
