Derek Lam

Derek Lam is a seasoned healthcare professional currently serving as Vice President of Delivery System Innovation at Healthfirst since 2023. Previously, Derek held various roles at CAIPA MSO, including Senior Vice President of Operations & Business Development and Vice President of Network Management, Provider Relations, and Credentialing from 2021 to 2023. Derek also worked at Healthfirst from 2015 to 2021 in positions such as Assistant Vice President of Strategic Account Management and Regional Director of Network Management. Earlier career experiences include roles at AstraZeneca, Amgen, Bristol-Myers Squibb, Daiichi Sankyo, and Novartis, emphasizing sales and business management. Derek earned a Master’s degree in Health Administration from The George Washington University and a Bachelor’s degree in Biology from Penn State University.
