Jim Cavnar

Jim Cavnar has over three decades of experience in talent acquisition and human resources, currently serving as the Vice President of Talent Acquisition at Healthfirst, the largest value-based health plan in New York City, since 2018. Previously, Jim held senior roles in talent acquisition at Transformco, leading recruitment efforts for Sears Holdings, and Bristol-Myers Squibb, overseeing global executive recruitment and US pharmaceuticals talent acquisition. Early career experience includes positions at Proventys Inc., Hess Oil & Gas, Aetna, Cejka Search, Jackson & Coker, and Citi. Jim holds a Bachelor of Science degree from Troy University and has pursued further education at Harvard University.
