Kara Hoeger

Kara Hoeger has over 20 years of experience in communications and public relations. Kara began their career in 2000 as an Assistant Account Executive at GCI Health. In 2002, they moved to Elmhurst Memorial Healthcare as a Coordinator of Public Relations. In 2006, they joined TAP Pharmaceutical Products, Inc. as a Manager of Public Affairs. In 2008, they began working at Takeda, where they have held various roles including Director of Communications for the U.S. Business Unit, Associate Director of Executive Communications, Associate Director of Communications and Corporate Giving, Senior Manager of Internal Communications and Corporate Giving, Internal Communications and Corporate Giving Manager, Affiliates and External Communications Manager, Corporate Communications Manager, Product Communications Manager, and Program Management Office Communications. In 2021, they began working at Health+Commerce as Senior Vice President and Vice President.

Kara Hoeger attended Loras College from 1996 to 2000, where they earned a Bachelor of Arts in Communication Arts with a focus in Public Relations.
