M Rehan Tahir

M Rehan Tahir has been working in the technology field since 1998, when they began as a summer intern at National Instruments. M Rehan then worked as an intern at ABB and a software engineer at Microsoft in 1999. In 2001, they began working at EMC as a Principal Software Engineer, where they led the development of key components of Powerpath/VE and incubated software defined storage. In 2008, they joined Oliver Wyman as an Associate. In 2010, they were an Independent Management Consultant at General Motors, advising on strategy and market entry into emerging markets. In 2014, they joined Verizon Labs as a Distinguished Member of Technical Staff, where they led an amazing team to develop large-scale application platforms on the edge for SDN, IoT, Media and Data Processing. In 2017, they became the Chief Strategy Officer (CSO) and Director of Strategy and Corp. Planning at Beaconhouse Group. M Rehan is currently the Lead at HEALTH[at]SCALE.

M Rehan Tahir's education history includes a Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering from The Ohio State University from 1994 to 1999, followed by a Master's degree in Computer Engineering from the same university from 1999 to 2001. M Rehan then attended Stanford University for a course in Statistics. From 2005 to 2009, they completed 9 semester-long 2nd year MBA courses as a cross-registered student from MIT at Harvard Business School. M Rehan also obtained a Masters of Science in Engineering and Management from MIT Sloan School of Management from 2007 to 2009, as well as a Graduate Certificate in Financial Technology Option from the same school. Finally, they attended the University of Engineering and Technology, Lahore for Electrical and Electronics Engineering.
