Ajith Unnikrishnan

Ajith Unnikrishnan has a diverse work experience spanning over 15 years. Ajith started their career at GE Healthcare in 2005 as a Design Engineer - Software, where they gained experience in object-oriented programming and worked as a Software Lead. In 2013, they joined CipherCloud as a Senior Software Engineer, where they performed as a Scrum Master and worked with languages such as C++, VC++, and C#.NET. At Tech Mahindra, starting from 2016, Ajith worked as a Business Consultant in the Agile Consulting arm, supporting different clients in achieving their business objectives through agile transformation. In 2018, they joined Siemens Technology India as an Agile Coach, leading the large-scale enterprise Agile and Lean transformation journey for a business unit of 100+ team members. At HealthEC, LLC, their most recent position was as a Senior Project Manager, where they led the organizational transformation towards an agile approach, formed and coached multiple scrum teams, and brought transparency and collaboration to the team. Throughout their career, Ajith has demonstrated strong skills in project management, coaching, and implementing agile methodologies.

Ajith Unnikrishnan obtained a Master's Degree in Computer Applications from Anna University between 2002 and 2005. Prior to that, they completed their Bachelor's Degree in Computer Applications from Bharathiar University between 1999 and 2002. In addition to their formal education, Ajith has obtained several certifications, including Professional Scrum Product Owner™ II (PSPO II) from Scrum.org in December 2021, ICAgile Certified Professional-Agile Coaching (ICP-ACC) from ICAgile in September 2017, Team Kanban Practitioner (TKP) from Kanban University in November 2016, Certified SAFe® 5 Program Consultant from Scaled Agile, Inc. in March 2022, Project Management Professional® (PMP) from the Project Management Institute in December 2015, Certified Scrum Professional (CSP) from Scrum Alliance in February 2018, Certified ScrumMaster® (CSM) from Scrum Alliance in December 2015, and SAFe Agilist Certification from Scaled Agile, Inc. in April 2017.
