Wendi Ellis, SHRM-SCP, is a strategic global People leader with a strong focus on talent management and learning. Currently serving as the Vice President of Talent and Learning at HealthEdge since November 2021, Wendi is responsible for implementing innovative strategies to empower the global workforce and drive organizational growth. WENDI also leads a forward-thinking learning organization that fosters a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous learning.
Prior to their role at HealthEdge, Wendi worked at Omnicell for over a decade. From October 2020 to October 2021, they served as the Vice President HR Business Partner COE and DEI, where they led the global HR Business Partner Center of Excellence and spearheaded the establishment of Omnicell's first Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion function. In this role, they aligned leadership, created a strategic vision, and established a DEI Council.
At Omnicell, Wendi also held the positions of Senior Director, Talent Acquisition, HRBP from July 2016 to October 2020, and Director, Staffing from October 2008 to July 2016. During their tenure as Senior Director, they provided strategic guidance and support to the Chief Commercial Officer and their team, aligning HR initiatives with key business strategies. As Director of Staffing, they successfully created a global recruiting function, reducing dependency on external agencies and implementing a Service Level Agreement (SLA) to enhance recruiter efficiency and manager satisfaction.
Prior to their time at Omnicell, Wendi worked at Willis Towers Watson as the Director of Career Development from July 2006 to October 2008.

Wendi Ellis, SHRM-SCP holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Sociology/Psychology from Middle Tennessee State University (MTSU). In addition, they have obtained several certifications, including the "Diversity, Equity and Inclusion in the Workplace Certificate" from USF Corporate Training and Professional Education and the "Modern Chief Diversity Officer Program" from Cornell University. Wendi has also completed numerous online courses and obtained certifications in various areas such as AI in HR, change management, leadership, and organizational culture.
