Tanzeem Choudhury

Tanzeem Choudhury has over 18 years of experience in the tech industry. Tanzeem began their career in 2003 as a Research Scientist at Intel Research Seattle and a Member of the Research Staff at Intel Research. In 2008, they moved to Dartmouth College as an Assistant Professor. In 2011, they joined Cornell University as an Associate Professor and Associate Professor without tenure, directing the People-Aware Computing Group and professing about Ubiquitous Computing. In 2015, they co-founded HealthRhythms, a company that makes it easy to measure and care for everyone's mental health. In 2019, they became the Roger and Joelle Burnell Chair in Integrated Health and Technology at Cornell Tech. In 2021, they joined UnitedHealth Group as Senior Vice President Digital Signals, Therapeutics, and Mental Health at Optum Labs.

Tanzeem Choudhury obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Rochester between 1993 and 1997. Subsequently, they earned their PhD in Computer Science/Media Lab from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology between 1997 and 2003.
