Kathy Mandato

Kathy Mandato serves as the Chief People Officer at XPRIZE, leading HR and Talent Acquisition for the non-profit aimed at solving global challenges through incentivized competition since May 2021. Mandato has also held notable positions such as Board Member and Investor at HearMe, an advocate for mental wellness, and HR Advisor at Media Res Studio and Meow Wolf during significant organizational growth. With a strong background in the media industry, Mandato was the CHRO at WarnerMedia, where strategic oversight contributed to the successful launch of HBO Max, and previously served as VP of Human Resources at Snapchat, Inc. and Executive Vice President at NBCUniversal, among other roles. Mandato's extensive experience is complemented by a Bachelor's degree in Journalism and Mass Communications from Kansas State University.
