Maissa Kabbani

Maissa Kabbani has a diverse range of work experience in various healthcare and non-profit organizations. Maissa most recently served as the Chief Operating Officer at Heart & Vascular Care Consultants, LLC, where they were responsible for guiding the company's workflow strategy and organization of business processes. Prior to that, they held the role of Vice President of Business Development and Laboratory Operation USA at Genetika+. Maissa also served as the Interim Laboratory Administration Director at Chesnut Hill Hospital / Tower Health and the Clinical Lab Consulting Director at Ridgewood Diagnostic Laboratory. Additionally, they founded and served as the CEO of the non-profit organization Civilization Foundation, which focused on resolving the Syrian refugee crisis. Earlier in their career, they held positions such as Outpatient/Outreach Laboratory Director at NYU Langone Medical Center, Director of Laboratory Operations at St. Joseph Medical Center, and Laboratory Administrative Director at LabCorp. Through their roles, Maissa has demonstrated a strong commitment to outstanding patient care, financial performance, and business development.

Maissa Kabbani holds a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) in Health/Health Care Administration/Management from Ashford University, which they completed in 2013. In 2008, they obtained a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Biotechnology from William Paterson University of New Jersey. Prior to that, they obtained an Associate of Science (A.S.) in Medical Laboratory Technology from Passaic County Community College in 2003. Maissa Kabbani also holds additional certifications, including a California Laboratory Scientist License CLS obtained in November 2018 from the California Department of Public Health and a Board Certification for Medical Laboratory Technology obtained in 2003 from the American Society Of Clinical Pathology.
