Andy Bank

Andy Bank has a long and varied work experience. Andy started in 2010 as a Research Laboratory Assistant at the University of Missouri, where they designed and developed orthopedic surgical instrument improvements for reconstructive surgeries. In 2011, they were a Research Assistant at the Minnesota Heart Institute Foundation, where they implemented a method for geometric estimation of left atrial size using MRIs. In 2012, they were a Development Engineering Intern at Zimmer, where they designed and developed features of novel surgical instrument sterilization cases. In 2013, they were an Engineering Technician I at 3M, where they utilized lean and six-sigma techniques to improve manufacturing quality, streamline processes, and reduce rework. Andy was also a Business Development Intern at SteadyMed Therapeutics, where they successfully identified, evaluated and conducted negotiations with potential licensing partners and contractors. In 2014, they were an Implementation Project Manager at Epic, where they led the implementation project of Epic's electronic medical record software for a multi-state, 10-hospital healthcare system. From 2015 to 2017, they were a Principal Consultant at AR Bank Consulting, LLC, where they developed customized white-papers and research analyzing medical device industry markets to provide actionable industry intelligence to C-Level executives, and delivered implementation and support of enterprise electronic medical record applications. Finally, from 2017 to 2022, they were a Senior CX Strategist, Program Manager, Support Operational Effectiveness, Senior Application Support Analyst, and Principal, CX Strategist at Workday. Currently, they are the Head of Growth & Customer Experience at HeartLab.

Andy Bank attended Edina High School before enrolling at the University of Minnesota in 2008. In 2009, they transferred to the University of Missouri-Columbia, where they earned a Bachelor of Science in Biomedical Engineering with a minor in Business Administration in 2013. Andy also holds a Private Pilot Certificate and Instrument Rating Airplane from Inflight Pilot Training.
