Alissa Griffith

Alissa Griffith, SHRM-CP, has a diverse work experience spanning over multiple roles and companies. Starting in 2002, they worked as a Sales Associate at Retail Management Systems, where they demonstrated excellent skills in lead generation and training program development. In 2003, Alissa joined Modern Medical as an Executive Assistant, supporting the CEO and HR Manager in various administrative tasks while also serving as a backup for HR-related duties. Alissa'srole expanded to HR Generalist in 2006, where they fostered a positive company culture and provided guidance on employee relations and benefits. Alissa joined Heartland Bank in 2015 as AVP, Director of Human Resources, and subsequently held the role of Vice President, Director of Human Resources in 2017. Currently, they serve as the VP, Senior Human Capital Business Partner, contributing to the bank's human resources strategy and initiatives.

Alissa Griffith, SHRM-CP, has a diverse education history. Alissa attended North Carolina State University from 1997 to 2000, where they studied Human Resource Management. Before that, Alissa obtained an Associate's degree in Business Administration and Management, General from Corning Community College, which they attended from 1996 to 1997. In 2016, they attended the Graduate School of Banking at the University of Wisconsin-Madison, where they expanded their knowledge in Human Resources.

In addition to their formal education, Alissa has obtained two certifications. In 2012, they earned the PHR (Professional in Human Resources) certification from the Human Resource Certification Institute. Later, in January 2015, they obtained the SHRM-CP (Society for Human Resource Management Certified Professional) certification from the SHRM (Society for Human Resource Management) institution.
